A free, face-to-face Turkish Exemption Exam will be held at the Istanbul University Language Center on September 23, 2025, for international students newly enrolled for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Applications will be accepted until September 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The list of students who will take the exam and the exam details will be published on our website on September 19.

All students placed in our university via İÜYÖS must prove a Turkish language proficiency of at least B2 level to begin their faculty courses. To graduate, they must reach C1 level within 2 years after starting their faculty studies.
